Dr. Chris Wirth and Dr. Sithara Vinod aim to utilize non-invasive image processing techniques to detect said defects, determine their cause and improve product performance. They intend to employ several imaging modalities and image processing algorithms to extract critical information and compare their methods to existing invasive quality control measurement tools.
